Cyber Warfare Research Center.

The third research center, in order of priority for permitting the survival of America as an independent nation, is the Cyber Warfare Research Center. The news media barely mentioned an overwhelmingly important event, an actual act of war against America. Are you aware that on the same day that North Korea test launched its nuclear long range guided missiles in the summer of 2006, America was successfully attacked and defeated in a Cyber Warfare Attack? On that fateful day, thousands of computers in our State Department simultaneously stopped working. An important part of our government was paralyzed, blinded, shut down, crippled in an instant!

The scanty reporting later indicated that the crippling of our computers was associated with an internet attack originating in "Southeast Asia," wherever that is. Might one guess Red China's Shanghai or Hong Kong? Certainly not from a Vietnamese rice paddy.

Our CIA and Defense Department spend billions and billions every year on international computer operations, but they were completely blindsided by this successful attack. It would appear that the private sector will have to create an independent Center to develop Cyber Warfare Research so that Communist China or Iran may be prevented from just turning off our military and defense computers, and immobilizing our armed forces whenever they desire.

Absolutely every aspect of our government and our military is not just computer-controlled, they are controlled by computers linked to the internet and other versions of "cyberspace." The Army is even installing networked computers in its trucks. Army mess halls and cafeterias have inventory replenishment computers networked internationally! The little robots being used in Iraq to examine IEDs, and the Predator unmanned aerial reconnaissance and combat aircraft are networked. Yet Communist China tested its ability to turn off our computers and it worked. We are not just vulnerable, but possibly our nation might be totally helpless.

If Red China can turn off one or two thousand of our government's computers, and get away with it without consequences, can you tell me what else they can do? It is not political to state that this is unacceptable. Universities throughout the nation must contribute to this effort.

If you would like to help insure that America is not crippled and conquered by Communist China's computer wizards, please donate and mark the memo portion of your check "Cyber Warfare Center."
